VIDEO: Welcome to Child Development Programs (CDP)

Susan Sheffield, Clinical Director, introduces the programs offered by Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Child Development Programs. The staff in these programs work collaboratively to provide a wide variety of supports and services to the families of children who are blind or have low-vision, demonstrate communication delays or disorders, and/or have a hearing loss or disorder.

VIDEO: York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program (YRPSLP)

Megan Rubenstein, Clinical Manager, introduces the York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program. She highlights the types of services provided by the program, and shares that that parents can refer their children without a doctor’s referral by calling 1-888-703- KIDS (5437).

Trisha Strong, Clinical Manager, introduces the Tri-Regional Infant Hearing Program. She discusses the newborn infant hearing screening program, as well as the services and supports the IHP offers, in the Regions of Durham and York, the Counties of Peterborough, Northumberland, and Haliburton, as well as the City of Kawartha Lakes.
